A Day in the Life

The Cardiovascular Group (CVG) portfolio focuses on advanced interventional therapies that support the diagnosis and treatment of complex cardiovascular conditions. Working across interventional cardiology and related procedural specialties, the team partners with physicians, catheterisation laboratory teams, and healthcare organisations to expand access to innovative technologies that improve patient outcomes.
This role supports the growth and adoption of the CVG portfolio across Czechia through clinical expertise, technical consultation, and customer partnership.

The position is remote-based within Czechia and requires frequent travel to hospitals, healthcare facilities, customer sites, and industry events throughout the territory.

As a Development Specialist Cardiovascular, you will serve as a clinical and technical expert supporting the adoption and effective use of Medtronic cardiovascular technologies. You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, distributors, and internal partners to provide product expertise, procedural support, clinical education, and market development activities that drive portfolio growth and enhance patient care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead technical and scientific discussions with physicians, catheterisation laboratory teams, and other healthcare professionals to support the appropriate use of cardiovascular technologies.
• Provide on-site procedural support, product demonstrations, and technical troubleshooting during clinical cases and customer engagements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and distributor partners across the territory.
• Identify opportunities to expand utilisation of the cardiovascular portfolio by assessing clinical needs and therapeutic gaps within customer accounts.
• Deliver clinical education and product training to support customer competency and confidence in using portfolio technologies.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and clinical teams to develop and execute territory growth strategies.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Natural Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related healthcare discipline and relevant experience within the medical device, healthcare, or clinical environment.
• Fluency in Czech and English.
• Experience providing clinical, technical, or customer-facing support within a healthcare setting.
• Ability to travel frequently throughout Czechia.
• Valid driving licence and ability to access customer sites across the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting interventional cardiology, structural heart, vascular, or other catheter-based procedural environments.
• Experience working with procedure-based medical technologies or implantable medical devices.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, disease states, and treatment pathways.
• Experience delivering clinical education, product training, or technical presentations to healthcare professionals.
• Project management experience and the ability to analyse clinical and business opportunities within customer accounts.
