Our client is an established technology-driven organisation developing and maintaining business-critical software solutions used across a highly regulated industry.

Currently undergoing a major digital transformation, they are modernising their existing on-premise applications while transitioning towards a modern SaaS environment. Their technology landscape combines modern .NET and Angular applications with established legacy systems.

This role is ideal for an Azure DevOps Engineer who enjoys improving CI/CD processes, automating complex release workflows and taking ownership of build and deployment infrastructure within a collaborative engineering environment.

🚀 About the Role:

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Manage, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps Server
• Automate build, testing, packaging and deployment processes to improve delivery efficiency
• Develop and standardise YAML pipelines, templates and Pipeline-as-Code workflows
• Maintain and optimise self-hosted build agents, agent pools and Windows-based build environments
• Identify and resolve pipeline bottlenecks, deployment failures and performance issues
• Integrate automated testing, security scanning and quality gates into delivery pipelines
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, infrastructure teams and release management to improve automation and deployment reliability

➕ Nice to Have:

• Several years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Server or Azure DevOps Services
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting, Git and CI/CD automation
• Experience working with YAML pipelines and self-hosted build agents
• Familiarity with .NET, Angular, Node.js or SQL-based build environments
• Knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose, NuGet, npm or SonarQube
• Experience supporting on-premise applications and SaaS environments
• Understanding of automated testing, security scanning and release management
• German language skills (C1) and English (B2)
