DHW/BI Developer - Snowflake + Tableau

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented DHW/BI Developer with expertise in Snowflake and Tableau to join our remote team. As a DHW/BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse solutions and business intelligence dashboards using Snowflake and Tableau. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization, along with hands-on experience in Snowflake and Tableau. This is a remote position that offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects with a dynamic team. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, including data modeling, schema design, and ETL processes. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake. Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize data insights and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions. Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues, gaps, and inconsistencies, and implement solutions to address them. Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements in all data warehouse solutions and BI dashboards. Monitor and optimize the performance of Snowflake databases and Tableau dashboards to ensure optimal performance and scalability. Document technical specifications, data models, and ETL processes for reference and knowledge sharing. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data warehousing, business intelligence, Snowflake, and Tableau. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data warehouse developer or business intelligence developer, with hands-on experience in Snowflake and Tableau. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery. Experience with data modeling concepts and techniques, including dimensional modeling and star schema design. Proficiency in ETL tools and processes, with experience in tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Matillion. Hands-on experience in developing Tableau dashboards and reports, including data visualization best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
