Role Description
This is a remote, contract Dietitian role with ABC Nutrition Ltd. The Dietitian will independently provide individualised nutritional assessments, deliver nutritional counseling to clients, with a strong focus on ACC-related community referrals and private clients.
This role includes travel and covers the wider Auckland region, with a focus on central Auckland and holding a fortnightly clinic in Mt Eden.
The Dietitian is expected to manage their caseload independently while maintaining professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in clinical dietetics and general nutrition, with the ability to apply evidence-based practice in diverse client scenarios.
- Experience with medical nutrition therapy, particularly in rehabilitation or ACC-related contexts, and managing nutrition for chronic conditions.
- Experience in eating disorders, neuro-affirming care and mental health preferred.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in dietetics and professional registration as a Dietitian in New Zealand.
Minimum 2 years clinical experience post-Registration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation and report writing for referrers and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and use digital tools for telehealth and record-keeping.
- Experience in community health, rehabilitation, or multidisciplinary team environments is an advantage.
- Commitment to culturally responsive practice and respect for diverse backgrounds and needs.
