Role Description The Real Estate Agent role at Harcourts is a contract position based in Tauranga, New Zealand with a hybrid work arrangement, combining time in the office, on-site property visits, and some work from home. The Real Estate Agent will prospect and engage potential buyers and sellers, conduct property appraisals, list properties, and manage open homes and inspections. This role includes preparing and presenting property marketing campaigns, coordinating viewings, negotiating offers, and guiding clients through contracts and settlement processes. The agent will maintain accurate records in Harcourts’ systems, collaborate with colleagues across residential, commercial, and rural segments where relevant, and ensure all activities comply with local real estate regulations and company standards. Building long-term client relationships and delivering consistent, high-quality customer service is central to the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a valid Real Estate License (or be eligible to obtain one under New Zealand regulations).
• Candidates should possess strong Real Estate and Real Property knowledge, including local market trends and regulatory requirements.
• Candidates should possess proven Sales skills, with experience in prospecting, negotiation, and closing transactions.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on communication, responsiveness, and client relationship management.
• Candidates nee ld to be self motivated and driven to achieve success.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation for property visits, and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed, are preferred.
