The role

We’re looking for a Digital Content Producer to create, maintain and optimise customer-focused content across Suncorp’s digital channels.

In this permanent role, you’ll ensure our content is accurate, accessible and aligned with the distinct tone of voice of each Suncorp brand. You’ll create and improve content that clearly answers customers’ questions, builds trust and is structured so that it can be effectively understood, cited and recommended by search engines and large language models.

Reporting to the Manager, Digital Content Production, you’ll contribute to the execution of our Digital Content strategy by proactively identifying, prioritising and delivering content improvements informed by customer, business and search insights.

Your work will help improve customer engagement, trust and discoverability while maintaining clear differentiation across Suncorp’s brands and supporting each brand’s identity and value proposition. All content produced must meet relevant quality, compliance and accessibility standards.

More specifically, you will:

  • Participate in prioritisation discussions to ensure tasks and initiatives delivering the greatest business value are addressed first.
  • Plan, create, maintain and optimise content across customer-facing digital channels.
  • Use approved tools and techniques, including AI-assisted content generation and review platforms, to increase production capacity and improve content quality.
  • Apply appropriate human review and editorial judgement to AI-assisted outputs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the quality, readability and freshness of content across our digital channels.
  • Work closely with the Search Insights & Discoverability team to ensure content is optimised for search and aligned with strategy.
  • Structure content to support discoverability, citation and reuse in AI-generated responses.
  • Interpret customer, search and content performance insights and apply them to improve content outcomes.
  • Apply content authority principles, including EEAT, expert attribution and trust signals.
  • Work within established content governance frameworks and the requirements of a regulated environment.
  • Maintain your knowledge of digital content best practices, tools and ways of working.
  • Share practical guidance with the team to help content production remain effective and aligned with evolving standards.
  • Work independently, manage competing priorities and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes.

What you’ll bring

  • At least two years’ experience producing, maintaining or optimising content for customer-facing digital channels in a comparable in-house, agency or regulated-environment role.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and producing customer-focused digital content that supports business objectives and an agreed digital strategy.
  • The ability to adapt content style and tone to create clear differentiation between brands.
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted tools for content research, drafting, optimisation and quality review.
  • Strong editorial judgement and the ability to assess and refine AI-assisted outputs.
  • Experience structuring content for search discoverability, citation and reuse in AI-generated responses.
  • The ability to interpret customer, search and content performance insights.
  • An understanding of content authority principles, including EEAT, expert attribution and trust signals.
  • Experience working within content governance frameworks and regulated environments.
  • Agile planning experience and the ability to use JIRA effectively to manage workflow.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate across digital, marketing, product, risk, compliance and legal functions.
  • An inquisitive mindset, with a willingness to learn, experiment and try new approaches.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are desirable.

How you’ll work

To succeed in this role, you’ll:

  • Understand your role requirements and deliver timely, high-quality outcomes while continually looking for ways to improve.
  • Deliver on commitments, communicate genuinely and directly, and support fair outcomes.
  • Work through challenges and raise risks when needed.
  • Listen to customers, advocate for their needs and take action to deliver the right outcomes.
  • Explore different ways of working and identify new solutions.
  • Adapt to changing business needs and learn from experience.
  • Support others, share your knowledge and take ownership of team goals.
  • Invite different views and experiences to encourage diverse perspectives.
  • Contribute positively to the team, celebrate others’ successes and support everyone’s safety and wellbeing.
