Santander (www.santander.com) is evolving from a global, high-impact brand into a technology-driven organization, and our people are at the heart of this journey. Together, we are driving a customer-centric transformation that values bold thinking, innovation, and the courage to challenge what’s possible.

This is more than a strategic shift. It’s a chance for driven professionals to grow, learn, and make a real difference.

Our mission is to contribute to help more people and businesses prosper. We embrace a strong risk culture and all our professionals at all levels are expected to take a proactive and responsible approach toward risk management.

The Wealth Management & Insurance division covers three businesses in all Santander Group countries: Insurance, Asset Management and Private Banking. We work to provide the best solutions to our clients in these three businesses in the countries where we are present.

Savings & Investments Domain supports the development of global investment and savings capabilities across Santander’s international footprint, delivering scalable digital products and customer experiences that help clients make better investment decisions.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

Wealth Management & Insurance is looking for a Digital Product Analyst, based in Boadilla (Madrid).

As a Digital Product Analyst, you will mainly support the Decide & Invest customer mission within Santander's global Savings & Investments platform, working alongside Product Managers to help deliver simple and effective digital investment experiences across multiple markets.

You will support the translation of product priorities into customer journeys, functional requirements, user stories and business rules, helping Product Managers move initiatives from definition through to delivery.

As part of the Global Digital Product team, you will work with Product, UX, Technology, Business and local market teams, contributing to the analysis, documentation, coordination and follow-up required to deliver scalable digital capabilities across countries.

This role is a great opportunity to develop strong digital product skills while gaining exposure to investment products, customer experience, technology and international product delivery.

We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas.

To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Support Product Managers in analysing customer needs, market trends and business requirements.
  • Gather and structure inputs from local markets and other stakeholders to support product decisions.
  • Help identify opportunities to simplify customer journeys and improve the digital investment experience.
  • Support the definition, tracking and reporting of product KPIs and customer experience metrics.
  • Assist Product Managers and local teams with product adoption and rollout activities across countries.
  • Prepare analysis and materials to support product discussions, workshops and decision-making.
  • Support Product Managers in the evolution of the Decide & Invest customer mission.
  • Translate product requirements into user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria, with guidance from Product Managers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Help document end-to-end customer journeys across areas such as onboarding, profiling, suitability, portfolios, investment execution and servicing.
  • Support the definition and documentation of business rules, functional specifications and product requirements.
  • Analyse existing journeys and processes to identify gaps, dependencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure requirements and documentation are clear, structured and understood by both business and technology teams.
  • Support the design and continuous improvement of simple and intuitive investment journeys.
  • Analyse customer journeys to identify friction points and opportunities for simplification.
  • Help translate complex investment concepts, regulatory requirements and customer communications into clear digital experiences.
  • Contribute to the definition and documentation of customer experience improvements.
  • Work with Product, UX, Business and Compliance stakeholders to ensure requirements are reflected in the customer experience.
  • Support initiatives aimed at making financial information and investment interactions easier for customers to understand and use.
  • Support Product Managers in maintaining and refining the product backlog.
  • Prepare and refine user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria ahead of development.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, product reviews and functional validation.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional questions during development.
  • Support testing and validation to ensure delivered capabilities meet agreed product requirements.
  • Track dependencies, open questions, risks and actions, escalating issues to the Product Manager when required.
  • Coordinate with local markets to gather requirements and support the rollout of global product capabilities.
  • Help maintain consistent product documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, UX, Technology, Business and local market teams.
  • Participate in workshops, product discovery sessions and cross-functional working groups.
  • Support the preparation of product materials, requirements and documentation for stakeholder discussions.
  • Help coordinate inputs and follow-ups across teams and countries.
  • Contribute to other product initiatives across the Savings & Investments domain when priorities require additional support.
  • Coordinate with internal and external providers when required, with support from the relevant Product Manager.
