Introduction to internship:
Today we find ourselves in a rapidly evolving retail landscape, as new technologies emerge and digitalization continues to develop, so do our customers’ expectations continue to grow. This is why we focus on delivering high impact, ready-to-use solutions with tangible business value for our co-workers and customers across all markets in Sweden.

We lead & drive the digital roadmap with close cross-functional collaboration and business partnership, to secure value based prioritization in alignment with our business strategies and plans. Here is where communication, stakeholder engagement and adoption are key to ensuring that our digital deliveries translate into real impact and support IKEA's vision of being the leading omnichannel home furnishing retailer.

Responsibilities:
Your internship will consist of collaborating with the digital project leader and business owners’ cross functions. Together with the team you will create the project and communication material to help our deployments have the best pre-requisite to reach adoption and usage goals. To put it simple, our team and function want to increase the overall business strategies and customer experience. The better we can spread awareness of our roadmap and business value the better we can create a better everyday life for people and planet.

Qualifications:
You are someone that has genuine interest in – retail, digital innovation and project management. This is also the field of work you see yourself development within.

You are currently in your second or final year of studies in the following areas: Digital & Business management, Strategic communication, Project management, Digital transformation leadership or similar. If you have experience of Marketing and internal communication, as well as basic understanding of the latest technologies such as AI, it will be considered an advantage.

We would like to see that you are comfortable with the English language – both verbally and in written and like to work in a structured way.

OUR TEAM WITHIN IKEA

You will be part of experienced Deployment & Adoption team within Sweden, leading the Sweden Digital Roadmap for all Retail units. We are a team with a shared passion for Togetherness, IKEA’s purpose and continuously enable the business growth. If you feel the same and want to improve, we look forward to meeting you.

You will be joining a team of eight colleagues, and you will have the possibility to look into the processes of different focus-areas. You will work closely with our team and report to a dedicated project leader, Vicky Dalezios.

We can offer you a couple of weeks of internship connected with our team within Deployment & Adoption at Service Office Helsingborg. The internship is based at IKEA Service Office in Helsingborg. We offer a hybrid working setup, and you are expected to be able to work on-site at the office at least three days per week. You will be provided with the tools and materials as well as direct support from the function. During your internship you will have a dedicated mentor.
