Director, Brand Lead

Deciphera Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director, Brand Lead to turn brand strategy into commercial impact. Reporting to the Head of Sarcoma Marketing, you’ll lead ongoing Brand planning, guide integrated marketing for healthcare professionals and patients, and develop talent within the Sarcoma Franchise. This full-time, permanent opportunity combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution and cross-functional leadership.

Your Impact

• Own brand strategy and competitive readiness: Align cross-functional partners around comprehensive pre-launch, launch, and promotional plans.
• Connect strategy to execution: Deliver integrated campaigns across audiences and platforms, mobilizing commercial teams around clear priorities and customer outreach.
• Lead and develop talent: Oversee product marketing and coach one direct report to support commercial success and future franchise growth.
• Shape lifecycle planning: Represent Commercial alongside the product program team and Medical Affairs, contributing to studies, publications, and key opinion leader engagement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 12+ years of such experience.
• Required rare disease and/or oncology and launch experience, with demonstrated commercial success and progressively greater responsibility.
• Extensive knowledge of the U.S. medical, regulatory, and legal review process.
• Excellent people-management skills and experience.

Preferred: MBA strongly preferred; cross-functional commercial experience, such as sales or market access, is a plus.

Deciphera is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to depth of experience, education, skillset, overall performance and/or location.​ The estimated base salary for this range is $235,000 - $260,000.
