Founded in 1988, Trimont ( www.trimont.com ) is a specialized global commercial real estate loan services provider and partner for lenders and investors seeking the infrastructure and capabilities needed to help them scale their business and make informed, effective decisions related to the deployment, management and administration of commercial real estate secured credit. As the largest master servicer of commercial real estate loans in the United States, Trimont manages securitizations with meticulous oversight and coordination—protecting cash flows, mitigating risk, and ensuring portfolio performance. We do this with a team of 1300+ extraordinary team members who serve a global client base from offices in Atlanta (headquarters), Bengaluru, Charlotte, Dallas, Hyderabad, Kansas City, London, New York and Sydney. We empower our people with advanced technology, industry-leading knowledge, and a culture centered on our core values. This approach enables our teams to deliver exceptional client service, build lasting relationships and take pride in the high-quality work they perform. Trimont is an innovative firm where visionary professionals come to learn, grow, and thrive with colleagues driven by curiosity and collaboration. Learn: We believe ongoing learning is critical and are focused on providing a work environment where all team members can take ownership of their careers. Grow: We work alongside the largest institutional lenders in the world, overseeing the most significant projects in the industry. This unique opportunity allows us to broaden our skillset and develop our abilities by tackling some of the industry’s most challenging and exciting endeavors. Thrive: Our firm is a place where ethics and excellence meet to create an experience that matches our capabilities. There are no limits to what we as team members and as an organization, can achieve together. Where people, purpose, and progress come together every day. Job Summary: The Director of Events leads Trimont’s global events strategy and execution, overseeing the event portfolio, budgets, vendor partnerships, and attendee experience. This role partners closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders to deliver high-impact events that strengthen client relationships, enhance brand visibility, and support business growth. The ideal candidate combines strategic planning, operational excellence, strong project management skills, and the ability to influence across teams to successfully lead a global events program. Responsibilities: Own the global events strategy and calendar: including conferences, sponsorships, client events, executive forums, and internal programs. Oversee end-to-end event planning and delivery, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, attendee experience, and post-event analysis. Manage Trimont’s presence at industry events, including sponsorship activation, speaking engagements, and executive participation. Partner with business development, client services, and marketing teams to align events with business objectives and measure outcomes. Oversee event budgets, forecasting, reporting, and vendor contract negotiations. Lead internal events, including Town Halls, leadership sessions, employee engagement programs, and company offsites. Coordinate executive speaking opportunities and provide support for presentations, logistics, and event preparation. Partner with People & Culture to support employee engagement, culture initiatives, and global employee events. Develop scalable event processes, tools, and playbooks to drive consistency, measurement, and operational excellence. Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance event effectiveness, attendee experience, and stakeholder impact. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 8-10 years of progressive event management experience, preferably in a B2B environment. Experience managing $500K+ budgets and multi-region event programs. Proven success executing conferences, sponsorships, and executive client events. Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills. Excellent project management and stakeholder management capabilities, with experience managing multiple high-visibility events simultaneously. Strong communication skills with experience supporting and influencing senior leaders and executives. Proactive, detail-oriented, and strategic mindset with strong judgment and operational discipline. Proficiency with event platforms such as Cvent or Bizzabo, as well as Canva and Microsoft 365. Experience with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms. Ability to travel up to 25% and work flexible hours as needed. Trimont is an equal opportunity employer, and we are proud to support and celebrate diversity in the workplace. If you have a disability and need an accommodation or assistance with the application process and/or using our website, please contact us. We are proud to maintain a drug-free policy, ensuring that our community is a secure and productive space for all our team members.
