MAVI partners with high-growth US startups and SMEs, embedding experienced finance professionals directly within their finance teams. This is not a back-office reporting role — you will own planning and performance, and the analysis US leadership uses to make decisions.

The Opportunity As Director of Finance, you will lead financial planning and analysis for US clients — owning budgeting, forecasting, and modeling, and working directly with US Controllers, CFOs, and founders.

What You Will Own

• Own the planning cycle for US clients — budget, rolling forecast, and long-range plan
• Build financial models, business cases, and scenario analysis from scratch
• Deliver management reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis to client leadership
• Partner with founders on pricing, margin, headcount, and spend decisions
• Track cash runway and burn, and flag risk before it becomes a problem
• Act as a primary US client contact, building strong stakeholder relationships
• Improve reporting infrastructure — dashboards, automation, and data quality

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of finance experience with a strong FP&A background
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and experience supporting US-based businesses
• Advanced financial modeling — you build models, you don't just maintain them
• ERP and BI experience (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Excel at an advanced level, Power BI or similar)
• CPA / CMA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) strongly preferred
• Excellent business English — you will present to US leadership regularly
• Ability to work US Eastern time zone hours
