Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Dispatcher based in Medellín. The Dispatcher will be responsible for negotiating rates and scheduling shipments, coordinating with drivers, and maintaining clear communication with clients. While some remote work is possible, the role is primarily office-based.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate freight rates with carriers to secure competitive pricing while maintaining service quality.
• Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery across North America.
• Maintain accurate documentation by updating transportation management systems (TMS), load details, and customer records.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and company procedures, including, documentation, and service standards.
• Assist with insurance claims,
• Develop and maintain strong carrier relationships by building a reliable network of transportation partners, fostering long-term partnerships, and ensuring consistent service performance and capacity availability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dispatcher in a freight brokerage
• Advanced English proficiency (B2 - C1 )
• Based in Medellín
• Bachelor’s degree in International Business or a related field
