About the Company

BMI is a mission-driven organization at the forefront of music rights and creator advocacy. Celebrating over 80 years of service to songwriters, composers, music publishers and businesses, BMI is a global leader in music rights management. Currently representing the public performance rights in over 25 million musical works created and owned by more than 1.5 million artists. BMI negotiates music license agreements and distributes the fees it generates as royalties to its affiliated writers and publishers when their songs are publicly performed.

About the Role

Every royalty payment starts with accurate information.

As a Distribution Processor at BMI, you’ll help turn music usage information into the accurate, timely royalty distributions that support the songwriters, composers and publishers we represent. You’ll process information from different sources, use specialized systems and tools, and contribute to a team that values accuracy, consistency and meeting deadlines.

You’ll learn established processes, build knowledge of the music industry and work closely with colleagues and management to resolve questions and maintain quality.
