Draftsman

Job Description This is a remote position. Job Overview: The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings to support the design and fabrication of custom stainless steel tanks and processing equipment. The role works closely with engineering and production teams to ensure drawings meet project, manufacturing, and quality requirements. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Prepare and produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for fabrication and assembly. Interpret design briefs, sketches, and specifications into clear shop and production drawings. Revise and update drawings based on engineering feedback and project changes. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure accuracy and constructability. Ensure drawings comply with company standards and relevant industry requirements. Maintain organised drawing files, revisions, and documentation. Requirements: Qualification in Drafting, Engineering, or a related technical field. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar). Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications. Understanding of manufacturing or fabrication processes (metal or stainless steel preferred). Er hGood communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Reporting Line: Reports to the Engineering or Production Manager.
