Company Description

Scion Development is an education consultancy that delivers bespoke 1-on-1 tuition, DSA (Direct School Admission) coaching, and strategy and leadership development for ambitious families. The organization supports learners from Primary through University levels and across all subjects, with a strong emphasis on amplifying each learner’s strengths while addressing areas for improvement. Educators are typically top students in their cohorts, bring diverse leadership experiences, and are committed to serving the community. When families work with Scion Development, learners gain access to a strategic team focused on desired school offers, as well as close mentorship that improves both academic performance and social confidence. The company is based in Singapore and engages closely with families to ensure a high-impact, personalized learning experience.

Role Description

The DSA Coach is a full-time, hybrid role based in Singapore, with a mix of in-person sessions and work-from-home responsibilities. Day-to-day tasks include designing individualized DSA preparation plans, coaching students on interview skills, portfolio-building, and personal statements, and guiding them through school selection and application timelines. The DSA Coach will conduct 1-on-1 mentoring sessions, provide feedback on academic work and co-curricular achievements, and help learners develop confidence, communication, and leadership capabilities. The role also involves collaborating with parents and the internal team to align on strategy, tracking learner progress, and maintaining detailed records of coaching outcomes. Some administrative and curriculum-development work may be performed remotely, while coaching sessions may take place at learners’ homes or agreed locations.
