E-Commerce & Marketing Manager

About the Role

Mini Katana https://minikatana.com/ is looking for an experienced E-Commerce & Marketing Manager to take ownership of the revenue side of our Shopify business.

This is a senior position with management responsibilities. You will lead e-commerce marketing, merchandising, product launches, retention, and sales execution while coordinating a distributed team. Performance incentives will be tied to the results of the business.

This role may be a strong fit for a senior retention, CRM, or e-commerce manager who is ready to take broader ownership of an established DTC brand.

Responsibilities

• Own e-commerce sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
• Develop the promotional, merchandising, and product-launch calendar.
• Decide how products should be launched, positioned, priced, promoted, and bundled.
• Coordinate product launches with inventory, photography, content, email, SMS, and website readiness.
• Own Klaviyo email strategy, including campaigns, flows, segmentation, testing, and retention.
• Oversee SMS marketing and coordinate its strategy with email.
• Review Shopify merchandising, product pages, collections, pricing, tags, templates, and promotional updates.
• Manage and coordinate team members responsible for campaign execution and store operations.
• Monitor e-commerce performance and make recommendations based on sales and customer data.
• Work directly with company leadership on major launches, promotions, and growth priorities.

Requirements

• At least five years of professional DTC e-commerce experience.
• Experience working with an established e-commerce brand, ideally generating at least $5M annually.
• Strong hands-on Shopify and Klaviyo experience.
• Experience with SMS platforms such as Postscript or Attentive is preferred.
• Proven experience with merchandising, retention, promotions, and product launches.
• Experience managing or coordinating multiple team members.
• Strong commercial judgment and comfort being measured on revenue.
• Excellent written English and strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with team members based in Asia, including occasional morning or evening calls.
