Early Careers Talent Acquisition Specialist (9 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Are you passionate about attracting and developing future talent?

Do you enjoy delivering engaging recruitment and onboarding experiences?

Join Aon's award-winning Early Careers team on a 9-month fixed-term contract and help shape the next generation of talent!

This role is based in our London office at 122 Leadenhall Street in London. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office, with an expectation to be in person 3 days per week, either in the office or supporting events and assessment centres across the UK.

Aon is in the business of better decisions

At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.

As an organisation, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

What the day will look like

As an Early Careers Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll support the attraction, assessment, onboarding and development of apprentices, interns, placement students and graduates across the UK.

Working closely with business leaders, HR colleagues and external partners, you'll help:

  • Deliver an exceptional early careers experience from application through to joining Aon.
  • Support recruitment activities for our apprentice hiring programmes.
  • Deliver attraction initiatives including careers fairs, campus events and employer branding activities.
  • Coordinate and facilitate assessment centres, candidate screening and selection processes.
  • Manage candidate communications, offers and onboarding activities through to day one.
  • Support induction events, IT set-up and new starter administration.
  • Administer social impact programmes including volunteering, payroll giving and charity partnerships.
  • Maintain recruitment systems, mailboxes and reporting while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

How this opportunity is different

You'll join a high-performing, award-winning Early Careers team that recruits around 200 apprentices, interns, placement students and graduates each year across the UK.

Working alongside three Early Careers Talent Acquisition Business Partners, the UK Early Careers Talent Acquisition Manager, the Early Careers Development Programme Team and the TA Support and Administration Team, you'll have the opportunity to influence attraction, selection and onboarding activities while building relationships across Aon's business and HR functions.

The role also offers exposure to Aon's Social Impact programmes, supporting colleague volunteering, charitable giving initiatives and partnerships that help make a positive difference in local communities.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • You will bring experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or early careers hiring.
  • You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • You will be confident communicating with candidates, hiring managers and external partners.
  • You will enjoy delivering events and creating positive candidate experiences.
  • It would be helpful to have experience of campus recruitment, assessment centres, onboarding programmes or social impact initiatives.
