  • Ensure accurate governance, compliance and real‑time status updates.
  • Maintain strong data integrity across all recruitment activity.

Vacancy Management

  • Advertise roles across internal and external platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to craft compelling, accurate job adverts tailored to each discipline.

Candidate Screening & Management

  • Review CVs and conduct initial screening where appropriate.
  • Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication throughout the process.
  • Maintain compliant, accurate candidate records.
  • Monitor application progress and support candidate system access when needed.

Direct Sourcing & Talent Pipelining

  • Build and nurture pipelines across diverse role types and future workforce requirements.
  • Engage passive talent to support long‑term attraction and strategic hiring.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience recruiting across a range of role types (e.g., operational, technical, engineering, corporate, professional).
  • Ability to adapt sourcing and engagement strategies based on the role discipline and its complexity.
  • Experience with Workday or similar ATS platforms.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with polished written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies at different stages with ease.

Rail experience is desirable but not essential.

Benefits

  • 33 days paid annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays.
  • Arriva Workplace Pension Plan (AWPP)
  • Access to ‘The Village’ – Arriva’s Reward Gateway offering discounts shopping, days out and more.
  • Holiday Purchase Scheme
  • Eyecare Vouchers

Who you’ll work with

You’ll partner closely with operational leaders, engineering teams, HR colleagues, training teams and candidates across the UK Trains portfolio - helping to secure the talent needed to keep our services running smoothly.
