eBay Product Research & Listing Specialist (Commission-Based, Remote)

ABOUT THE ROLE
Strategic Supply Services manages eBay selling accounts for clients in the US and UK markets. We are adding a specialist who focuses purely on finding profitable products and building high-quality listings.
You will be given child (sub-user) access to the relevant eBay account through eBay's official Multi-User Account Access. Your listings are your own portfolio: you research them, you list them, and you earn a share of the profit they generate.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Research profitable products for eBay US and UK, sourcing from Amazon, AliExpress or your own supplier network
- Create optimised listings: titles, item specifics, descriptions, images and pricing
- Monitor your listings for price and stock changes and keep them updated
- Keep every listing compliant with eBay policy, VeRO and category restrictions
- Report weekly on listings created, sales generated and profit
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
This is a product research and listing role only. Order fulfilment, customer messages, returns, disputes and overall account health are handled by our in-house team. Please do not apply if you are looking for a full account-management position.
COMPENSATION
- 20% of the net profit generated by your own listings
- No fixed salary. This is a commission-only role.
- Net profit is calculated as: sale price + buyer-paid postage, minus item cost, minus shipping cost, minus eBay and payment processing fees, minus promoted-listing fees. Refunded, cancelled and out-of-stock orders count as zero.
- Profit share is calculated monthly and paid once the 30-day return window has closed on the relevant orders
- Paid by [bank transfer / Wise / Payoneer]
- No cap. Your earnings scale directly with how your listings perform.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on eBay dropshipping product research
- Strong working knowledge of eBay policies, VeRO and restricted categories
- Experience sourcing from Amazon, AliExpress or private suppliers
- Comfortable with listing and bulk-upload tools
- Good written English
- Reliable internet and availability during agreed hours
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience across both UK and US eBay marketplaces
- Familiarity with repricing or stock-monitoring tools
- A track record you can evidence with screenshots or figures
HIRING PROCESS
1. Application. Send a short summary of your eBay experience, the niches you specialise in, and one example of a product you found that performed well, with rough numbers.
2. Screening call, 15 to 20 minutes, on Zoom or WhatsApp.
3. Paid trial task. Research and present 10 product ideas with your margin workings. Paid at a flat fee whether or not we proceed.
4. Offer and written agreement covering scope, the net profit definition and payment terms.
5. Onboarding and sub-user access setup.
Expected timeline: 7 to 10 days from application to decision. Everyone who reaches the screening call gets a response either way.

- We collect only what we need to assess your application: your name, contact details, work history and portfolio examples.
- Your information is used solely for this recruitment process. It is not sold or shared with third parties.
- Application data is retained for 6 months and then deleted. Ask us at any point and we will delete it sooner.
- We will never ask you for payment, deposits, registration fees or security money at any stage.
- We will never ask for passwords to your own eBay, Amazon or bank accounts. Access to our account is granted only through eBay's official sub-user system.
- Identity documents such as CNIC are requested only at contract stage, never during application.
