Your role as an Electrical Engineer As a Electrical Engineer, you’ll combine hands-on engineering with international collaboration. You will work closely with Electrical and Software Engineers and report to the Manager of E&I and Software. You’ll be based in Enschede, working alongside more than 400 colleagues, and from mid-2026 you’ll move to a brand-new, sustainably built office in Hengelo. You will also support our partner in Poland during container construction and commissioning, giving you valuable international exposure early in your career. What this means for you: You gain responsibility, visibility, and the chance to develop into a well-rounded Electrical Engineer in a growing, future-proof industry. Your responsibilities Prepare RFQs and evaluate technical offers; Communicate directly with clients and answer technical questions; Collaborate with Electrical and Software Engineering teams in the Netherlands and Poland; Prepare load lists, network diagrams, cable lists, and electrical documentation; Review electrical schematics and supervise panel builders; Perform ATEX and SIL calculations; Provide technical support during commissioning and start-up. Our requirements A completed technical education at MBO-4 level or higher, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation; Approximately 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical system design and implementation; Knowledge of ISO, IEC, UL, CSA, ATEX, and SIL standards; A proactive, accurate, and solution-oriented mindset; Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude; Good command of English, both spoken and written.
