Electrical / Electronics Engineer – Automotive

Experience: 2–5 years

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical / Electronics Engineer to join an automotive engineering team in Kraków.

The role focuses on the design, testing and validation of electronic devices for automotive applications, with particular emphasis on DC/DC power supplies, digital and analogue circuit design, microcontroller-based electronics and signal measurement.

The successful candidate will work on products designed for high-volume manufacturing, with a strong focus on cost efficiency, reliability and automotive quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electronic devices for automotive applications, focusing on:

  • Low cost

  • High reliability

  • High-volume manufacturing

• Design and optimize DC/DC power supply circuits and converters.

• Design and test digital and analogue electronic circuits.

• Work with microcontroller-based electronic systems.

• Perform circuit calculations, simulations and design verification.

• Conduct prototype testing and validation.

• Perform signal measurements and analyze test results.

• Create and maintain electrical design documentation, including:

  • Schematics

  • PCB designs

  • Electrical characteristics

  • Design specifications

  • Test and validation documentation

• Support the development and optimization of electronic circuits throughout the product lifecycle.

• Collaborate with local and international engineering teams.

• Participate actively in peer reviews and technical design reviews.

• Follow the established Electrical Design Process and applicable quality procedures.

• Deliver assigned engineering activities according to project schedules and quality requirements.

• Support continuous improvement and development of engineering competencies.

Required Technical Skills:

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• 2–5 years of professional experience in electronics design and testing.

• Practical experience designing and testing:

  • Digital circuits

  • Analogue circuits

  • DC/DC power supplies / converters

  • Microcontroller-based circuits

  • Medium-power analogue circuits

  • Signal measurement circuits

• Practical knowledge of CAD and electronic simulation tools.

• Experience with electronic prototype testing and validation.

• Good understanding of electronic design principles for automotive applications.

• Good written and spoken English.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with EMI/EMC-compliant electronic design.

• Experience with EMC optimization and troubleshooting.

• Experience with digital video interfaces, particularly:

  • Serializers

  • Deserializers

• Master's degree in Electronics or a related discipline.

• Automotive electronics development experience.

• Experience with high-volume automotive manufacturing requirements.

Work Model:
