Email Marketing Account Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

Especially if you have at least 4 to 6 months of experience working within marketing, ideally client-facing.

The monthly rate for this full-time position is between $700 and $900 per month based on current experience and requires full-time hours of between 150 and 165, where these hours are tracked on Hubstaff.

This is a hybrid position that includes a 50/50 split between providing account management services for the client, alongside providing daily marketing services for the agency. You can also choose to move into a more specialized role over time.

A good deal of self-reliance, independence and a hunger to learn is required with this role, and you will be learning while you are doing, with some external guidance and support in place.

Our client is focused primarily on helping brands improve their email marketing revenue, working mostly within Klaviyo, and we will grow our services to include Mailchimp, Active Campaign, Retention Science and Omnisend. And further grow our services to include SEO, PPC, Facebook Ads, Content, Design and Social Media; the full marketing suite.

What you’ll do:

• Be in charge of 6 to 8 figure eCommerce clients looking to increase their revenue from email marketing
• Planning and implementing the email marketing strategy (mainly through Klaviyo)
• Managing a Team of two professional Copywriters and two Designers to develop the necessary email marketing campaigns and flows for the clients
• Create and optimise a marketing strategy for the agency including social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest) SEO, create case studies, write blogs and manage other people (designers/copywriters) to come up with the content
• Write blogs, social media posts, case studies and assist the copywriters with campaigns
• Project management of flow setups, external third-party apps and regular reporting
• Making sure the communication with your clients is on point and to their satisfaction and return on investment (ROI) continues to increase

What you’ll need:

• At least 4 to 6 months experience within a marketing role, ideally client-facing
• Being available and responsive Mon-Fri between set hours of either 11 am to 2 pm, or 2 pm to 5 pm UK time
• Fluent English speaking, reading and writing
• Previous remote work experience is a big advantage
• Being familiar with slack, asana, and G-Suite
• Being results-driven
• Very high attention to detail
• Learning and being able to adapt fast
• Common sense (ability to think outside out the box and figure things out)
• Being accountable, consistent and responsible
• Owning a laptop or PC with a fast, stable internet connection
