-------------【 Job Description】-------------
Recruitment Background
As a leading drone solutions enterprise, the company is actively executing a global market expansion strategy centered on the commercialization and sale of proprietary, in-house developed drone platforms.
To establish a dominant global market share as a top-tier world drone manufacturer, the company is recruiting multiple Embedded & Control Systems Engineers. These engineers will drive core firmware, real-time flight control, and hardware-software integration, serving as vital technical drivers to accelerate the organization's technological innovation and global scale.
Mission
Upgrades and feature enhancements for existing flagship drone products.
New development of next-generation autonomous drones targeting new market entry.
While initial onboarding will focus on embedded systems and control engineering, candidates are expected to grow into core members who transcend the boundaries between mechanical (structure), electrical (circuitry), and software (control) engineering to create end-to-end, full-stack robotics systems that operate reliably in real-world environments.
While initially focused on core flagship drone platforms upon joining, future scope will encompass diverse drone applications across defense, surveying, agriculture, logistics, and other industrial sectors.
Responsibilities
Embedded software development for microcontrollers and ECUs
On-device debugging and field testing
Autonomous driving and actuator control
Coordinating specifications with other departments
Developing Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) (in the future)
*You will be assigned tasks based on your experience, skills, and strengths.
Position Highlights
・Located in Shibuya, Tokyo. Production is fully outsourced, eliminating regional factory transfers or relocations.
・Offers tangible, end-to-end involvement across the entire platform lifecycle rather than working on isolated components.
・Opportunities to develop Japan-engineered airborne robotics and deploy them across international markets.
・Direct, close collaboration with business operations and product teams, exercising strong autonomy over overall product development.
・Capitalizing on current market momentum for drones, the company receives strong support from major enterprises despite its startup scale. Recent support includes the loan of a JPY 15 million high-end 3D printer and granted access to Tokyo's latest advanced research facilities, providing a near-frontier engineering environment.
-------------【 Requirements】-------------
Required
Practical experience (1 year or more) in embedded software development and evaluation using C or C++
Experience with “on-device debugging and testing” using microcontroller boards and evaluation boards
Interest in mechanical and electrical engineering, and a desire to build products from start to finish
Preferred
Project experience—such as in “Robocon” competitions—during college or technical college, or personal hobbies involving electronics projects and making things
Experience developing “moving products (hardware)” such as robots, automobiles, AGVs/AMRs, drones, and precision machinery
Experience leading product development from concept to launch (0→1)
Experience in hardware and software development
Ideal Applicants
Aspires to become a multi-disciplinary, full-stack engineer bridging Mechanical, Electrical, and Software domains to create integrated systems.
Strongly believes in the competitive potential of Japanese hardware engineering, possessing deep passion for building a world-class, Japan-originated drone industry on the global stage.
Seeks to escape routine tasks and isolated, component-level design, with a strong desire to immerse themselves in crafting truly impactful products with high engineering autonomy.
