To power this program, the company is recruiting multiple Design & Development Engineers responsible for airframe design, systems architecture, and defense-grade robotics engineering.

Position Highlights

Direct engagement in the design and development of defense-grade drones, contributing directly to national security and strategic national policies.

Based in Shibuya, Tokyo. Production is fully outsourced, eliminating regional factory transfers or relocations.

Offers tangible, end-to-end involvement across the entire platform lifecycle rather than working on isolated components.

Opportunities to develop Japan-engineered airborne robotics and deploy them across international markets.

Capitalizing on current market momentum for drones, the company receives strong support from major enterprises despite its startup scale. Recent support includes the loan of a JPY 15 million high-end 3D printer and granted access to Tokyo's latest advanced research facilities, providing a near-frontier engineering environment.

Required

Experience committing to hardware development in some capacity (Mechanical, Electrical, or Embedded Control fields).

┗Emphasizes experience taking ownership and committing to development activities within a specific domain (academic/university experience is acceptable).

Individuals capable of approaching tasks proactively—learning independently and taking immediate action even in unfamiliar domains.

┗While skills and experience matter, foundational work stance and mindset are highly prioritized.

★Greater importance is placed on agility and swift reflexes toward evolving development items rather than specialized knowledge alone.

┗Suited for those who want to move fast, as development items and priorities shift on a daily-to-weekly basis.

Mechanical Engineering Skills

・3D CAD: Mandatory / 3D CAD experience required (No tool specification).

・CAE Analysis: Mandatory / Structural analysis experience required. Experience in at least one domain: Structural Strength, Vibration, Thermal, or Fluid Dynamics.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering Skills

・Schematic Design: Optional / Circuit schematic design experience not required, but preferred (No tool specification).

・PCB Layout Design: Optional / Board layout design experience not required, but preferred.

・Debugging & EMC: Optional / Debugging using measurement instruments and EMC (noise/EMI) troubleshooting experience not required, but preferred.

Experience leading product launches from scratch (0 to 1) and product development
