-------------【 Job Description】-------------
Recruitment Background
As a leading drone solutions enterprise, the company is actively driving its global expansion strategy focused on the commercialization and sale of proprietary, in-house developed airborne robotics (drones).
To establish a dominant global market share as a top-tier world drone manufacturer, the company is recruiting multiple Robotics Engineers for its airborne platform development division. These individuals are expected to serve as next-generation executive candidates, steering the technical engineering roadmap, scaling product offerings, and leading global operations.
Mission
Upgrade and modernize existing flagship drone products.
Spearhead end-to-end development of next-generation autonomous drones targeting new market expansion.
Beyond designing isolated hardware or software components, this role serves as a core engineering lead—transcending the boundaries of Mechanical (structural), Electrical (circuitry), and Software (control) engineering—to build robust, real-world operational robotics systems end-to-end.
Initially focused on the company's core flagship drone platforms, the engineer's scope will progressively expand to lead R&D and platform development across diverse industrial applications, including defense, surveying, precision agriculture, and logistics.

*You will be assigned tasks based on your experience, skills, and strengths (hardware/software).
Position Highlights
・Based in Shibuya, Tokyo. Production is fully outsourced, eliminating the need for regional transfers or relocations.
・Engineers take full responsibility for a single drone platform across the entire product lifecycle—from planning and design to prototyping, evaluation, and mass production.
・Prototyping cycles take an average of 2 weeks to 1 month (as fast as 1 week), enabling rapid, high-frequency trial-and-error to drive continuous product refinement.
・Opportunity to develop Japan-engineered airborne robotics and deploy them across international markets.
・Collaborate closely with business operations and product management teams, taking high-level ownership over overall product development.
・Capitalizing on the booming market demand for drones, the company receives substantial technical backing from major enterprises despite being a startup. Recent support includes the complimentary loan of a 15 million JPY high-end 3D printer and access to state-of-the-art research facilities in Tokyo, offering a world-class R&D environment.
-------------【 Requirements】-------------
Required
2+ years of practical experience in either mechanical or electrical design within the hardware field
┗ Ability to apply knowledge and insights to areas outside one’s experience and take the initiative to drive projects forward
Experience in independently planning and successfully completing a specific development project (scale and team size are not a concern)
Preferred
Experience in embedded systems (firmware/control)
Experience in mass-production design and mass-production launch
Practical experience in development involving external contractors (providing specifications, managing progress)
Ideal Applicants
Strongly believes in the competitive potential of Japanese hardware engineering, possessing deep passion for building a world-class, Japan-originated drone industry on the global stage.
Seeks to escape routine tasks and isolated, component-level design, with a strong desire to immerse themselves in crafting truly impactful products with high engineering autonomy.
