Employment & Labor Law Paralegal - full time or part time We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Paralegal to support a U.S. law firm handling employment-related litigation, workplace disputes, and advisory matters. This is a fully remote role for a legal professional with strong litigation experience, excellent drafting skills, and hands-on experience supporting attorneys with U.S. employment law matters. Key Responsibilities Support attorneys with employment law matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and related claims. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, subpoenas, notices, and legal correspondence. Assist with EEOC, state agency, and administrative charge matters. Prepare and organize documents for workplace investigations and employment disputes. Review and organize personnel files, payroll records, emails, policies, contracts, disciplinary records, and other employment-related evidence. Manage discovery, including document collection, review, organization, and production. Prepare deposition, mediation, hearing, arbitration, and trial materials. Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and other case events. Communicate directly with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, courts, agencies, experts, and other parties. Track statutes of limitation, administrative deadlines, discovery deadlines, court dates, and case milestones. Prepare and submit court and agency filings through applicable electronic filing systems. Conduct legal and factual research related to employment law matters. Assist with preparing chronologies, damages summaries, witness materials, and case summaries. Maintain accurate and organized digital case files. Work within the firm's case management and document management systems. Follow established firm procedures and quality standards. Candidate Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Paralegal, Lawyer, or Attorney. Minimum 2 years of experience working with an employment law firm in the United States. Strong hands-on experience with U.S. employment law matters. Experience supporting employment litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, or related claims. Experience with EEOC charges or other federal or state employment agency matters. Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and legal correspondence. Strong experience managing discovery and document production. Experience reviewing personnel records, payroll records, employment policies, and workplace communications. Experience preparing matters for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, or trials. Strong understanding of litigation deadlines and court procedures. Experience working directly with U.S. attorneys and clients. Strong legal drafting and document preparation skills. Experience with legal case management software and electronic filing systems. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 or comparable cloud-based business tools. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
