We’re looking for an experienced End to End Test Manager to lead and develop our End to End testing capability across a complex technology landscape.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring critical customer, colleague and business journeys continue to operate successfully as technology changes are delivered. Working across multiple applications, platforms, business areas and third-party suppliers, you’ll provide confidence that changes work seamlessly from start to finish.
What you’ll do
Own and evolve the End to End Test Strategy, standards, governance and ways of working.
Lead E2E test planning, preparation, execution and reporting across complex programmes and business change.
Build and maintain a risk-based regression suite covering critical customer, colleague and operational journeys.
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture and business teams to understand processes, integrations, dependencies and risks.
Lead on test environments, test data, quality gates, defect management and release readiness.
Drive an automation-first approach, identifying opportunities to automate stable and repeatable regression scenarios.
Coordinate onshore and offshore testing resources and third-party suppliers.
Provide clear reporting on test progress, coverage, defects and residual risk to support Go / No Go decisions.
Lead and develop E2E Test Analysts / Engineers while continuously improving the overall testing capability.
About you
You’ll bring:
Significant Test Management or Quality Engineering experience within a large, complex organisation.
Strong experience leading End to End testing across multiple integrated systems and business processes.
Experience developing test strategies, plans, regression suites and quality gates.
Strong knowledge of integration, system, regression, UAT and operational testing.
Experience with test automation, environments and test data.
Experience working across Agile, Product and programme delivery models.
Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence communicating quality and delivery risks to senior stakeholders.
Experience managing third-party suppliers and distributed testing teams.
Desirable experience
Experience within a large retail environment would be particularly valuable, including exposure to areas such as stores, eCommerce, supply chain, order fulfilment, pricing and promotions, SAP or other enterprise platforms.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, API/integration testing tools, automation frameworks and CI/CD quality engineering practices would also be beneficial.
What success looks like
You’ll help create a mature, reusable E2E testing capability that improves coverage of critical business journeys, increases automation, reduces cross-system defects reaching production and gives teams greater confidence in the quality of technology releases.
