Energy Analyst

About the Company

Our client is a leading member of the Irish sustainable energy sector who are hiring an Energy Analyst to join their team. This is a hybrid job which can be based out of either Dublin or Cork. This is a great opportunity to join an organisation with a key role in furthering sustainability in Ireland. Please note that this is an initial 18-month contract.

About the Position

• As Energy Analyst, your job will be to conduct energy modelling studies using analytical tools, particularly for analysing efficiency measures and heating system decarbonisation options.
• Developing new analytical tools using languages such as Python.
• Preparing, integrating and analysing data to improve modelling inputs/outputs.
• Producing reports and data visualisations to illustrate insights.
• Identifying current and future data gaps, and research to continuously develop methodology, functionality and other analytical tools.
• Any other duties as required.

Experience/Requirements

• For this Energy Analyst job, you will have 3+ years’ relevant experience and a relevant level 7 or higher qualification.
• You will also have experience with languages such as Python and SQL or similar.
