Job Mission 🚀 As an Energy Market Specialist, you'll play a key role in architecting product-market fit and commercial advantage for Tibber in the Netherlands. Reporting to the Country Director, you will act as the crucial link between local market dynamics and our central product and trading teams. What you'll do ✅ Drive Market Growth Strategy: Identify untapped profit pools and flexibility opportunities to build data-backed commercial cases that secure central prioritization and drive revenue. Bridge Local and Central Teams: Translate complex Dutch energy regulations into high-impact commercial specifications, turning compliance requirements into first-to-market advantages. Influence the Local Industry: Represent Tibber in local industry bodies, shaping market rules to favor our digital-first, decentralized energy model. Optimize the Product Lifecycle: Run regular audits on the local product suite and flexibility integrations, proactively retiring underperforming features to keep operations lean. Automate Local Market Quirks: Partner with cross-functional teams to automate local billing, switching, and metering processes, removing operational friction at scale. Expand Asset Density: Collaborate with hardware partners to ensure seamless connection of smart assets to our global virtual power plant, maximizing ecosystem yield. What we're looking for⚡ You are driven by impact and used to fast-paced environments, and you thrive when given clear goals and high accountability. We believe you'll be a great fit if you: Bring a deep understanding of the Dutch energy market, including local grid services, regulations, and stakeholder landscapes. Possess strong commercial acumen, with a proven ability to build rigorous business cases and define clear ROI for technical teams. Exhibit excellent communication skills, managing and synthesizing input across marketing, operations, sales, product, and trading teams. Demonstrate a data-driven approach, using advanced analytics and predictive models to evaluate product performance and customer behavior. Comfortably navigate ambiguity, balancing regulatory compliance with rapid, entrepreneurial speed-to-market. Tibber becomes more and more AI-enabled, and we embrace new tools and ways of working.
