Enterprise Account Executive, Customer Experience (CX)
Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Hybrid)
Salary & benefits
The package includes a base salary and performance-related commission. We'll be happy to discuss the details and your salary expectations early in the process to make sure there's a good fit on both sides.
We're partnering with a founder-led global software company to grow its business across the Gulf, and we came away from our briefing with its leadership team genuinely excited about the opportunity.
What makes this exciting
It's a founder-led software company that's been growing for over 20 years, and many of its leaders have been with the business for a long time. One helped establish the company's presence in their region, while another has been promoted twice this year. Teams are small, so you'll have real ownership, work directly with senior leadership and plenty of opportunity to grow.
The culture is flexible and international, with people trusted to manage their time and deliver results. You'll work closely with colleagues across different markets, with the support of an established global business behind you.
And the timing in the Gulf is interesting. Businesses are investing in customer experience, digital transformation and AI, creating opportunities for someone who understands how to sell enterprise software. You'd be representing a platform that brings surveys, research, customer and employee experience together, with a local team in Dubai.
The role
This is a pure new-business role. You'll win new enterprise and mid-market customers across the UAE and Qatar, with typical deals worth USD 30K–50K or more.
Your focus sectors are banking, retail, real estate and telecom, and your buyers will include Heads of CX, Chief Customer Officers, and senior digital, marketing and insights leaders.
You'll build your own pipeline through outbound activity and your network, with marketing, SDR and partnership teams contributing leads. You'll manage the sales process from first conversation to signed contract, including learning the platform well enough to run your own demos. Pre-sales and implementation teams will be there to support you.
For your first three months, your manager and experienced colleagues will work closely with you on the product, market and live opportunities. After that, you'll have the independence to manage your territory, with direct access to leadership when you need it.
What you'll bring
- Around 4–7 years of experience selling subscription software (SaaS), with a track record of winning new business against a sales target
- Experience closing deals worth USD 30K–50K or more
- Experience selling CRM or marketing software; CX, survey or research software experience is a strong plus
- New customers you've won yourself in the UAE or wider Gulf
- The ability to build your own pipeline, develop relationships and manage deals through to close
- Confidence running product demonstrations and speaking with senior decision-makers
- Excellent English communication skills and the confidence to represent the company at industry events; Arabic is a plus, not a requirement
- Based in the UAE, ideally already holding a UAE residence visa
Where it leads
You'll start by covering the UAE and Qatar, with the opportunity to expand into other Gulf markets as the business grows. Longer term, that could mean progressing to Senior Account Executive and potentially leading a small team.
You'll spend two days a week in the Dubai office, with the flexibility to work remotely or meet clients on other days. There will also be occasional travel to Doha and regional industry events.
Interview process
The interview process has three stages, including a practical task, with the aim of completing everything within four weeks.
1) Initial screening call with Joanna Byerley, Fractional Talent Partner
2) Video conversation with the Country Manager
3) Practical task, presented over video
There may also be an informal meet-and-greet at the Dubai office.
If this sounds like the kind of opportunity you're looking for, we'd be pleased to hear from you.
