Shape the Future of Work at BCLC

How work gets done is changing. New technologies, evolving workforce expectations, changing business priorities, and emerging skill requirements are transforming organizations faster than ever before.

At BCLC, we're looking for an experienced and forward-thinking leader to help shape what comes next.

As our Enterprise Lead, Work Design and Workforce Experiences, you will lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen organizational capacity, improve workforce effectiveness, and prepare BCLC for the future. This role will be involved in a wide variety of projects as well as understanding how work is performed across the organization and identifying opportunities to redesign work, optimize workforce capacity, enable AI adoption, and create meaningful workforce experiences that help our people and business thrive.

What You'll Do

You will partner with senior leaders, executive sponsors, and cross-functional teams to transform ideas into practical, enterprise-wide solutions. Key areas of focus include:

  • Leading large-scale workforce transformation and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Designing implementation roadmaps, governance structures, milestones, and measures of success.
  • Assessing work, workforce capacity, and emerging opportunities to simplify, redesign, automate, or augment work through AI and other enablement strategies.
  • Developing business cases, recommendations, and implementation plans that improve organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Bringing together change, communications, learning, workforce, process, technology, financial, and operational perspectives into integrated implementation approaches.
  • Advising leaders on organizational readiness, workforce impacts, risks, priorities, and trade-offs.
  • Providing functional leadership to cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
  • Ensuring intended business and workforce outcomes are achieved and sustained.

What Makes This Role Unique

This is more than a project leadership role.

You will have the opportunity to help define how work evolves at BCLC by addressing some of the most important questions facing organizations today:

  • How should AI and automation change the way work is performed?
  • What skills will our workforce need in the future?
  • How can we create capacity while improving employee experience?
  • How do we design work, teams, and operating models that support long-term business success?

This role offers broad enterprise exposure and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions that shape the future of our workforce.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a leader who combines strategic thinking with practical execution.

You bring:

  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives or organizational transformation programs.
  • Strong organizational effectiveness, workforce strategy, change management, or business transformation experience.
  • The ability to translate broad organizational priorities into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong business acumen and systems thinking.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and executive sponsors.
  • Curiosity about the future of work, workforce trends, operating models, and AI-enabled transformation.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Change Management, Project or Program Management, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience leading complex enterprise initiatives, organizational transformation, program implementation, or related work.
  • Experience developing multi-year roadmaps and leading implementation through to measurable outcomes.
  • Professional certifications in Project Management, Program Management, Change Management, Human Resources, or Organizational Development are considered assets.

Why BCLC

At BCLC, our commitment to Integrity, Curiosity, and Human Connection guides everything we do. We are committed to creating an environment where innovation, collaboration, and responsible transformation come together to deliver meaningful impact for our employees, players, communities, and province.

If you're passionate about designing the future of work, enabling workforce transformation, and turning strategy into enterprise-wide impact, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Robust wellness programs to enhance your physical, mental, social, financial and career well being
  • We pride ourselves on our flexible working model which supports work-life integration and our 37.5 hour work week
