Role Description The Entry Level Technical Sales Associate is a part-time, hybrid role based in Ibafo, Obafemi-Owode with some flexibility to work from home. This role involves supporting the sales process for industrial equipment, electrical services, and solar solutions by engaging prospective and existing customers, responding to inquiries, and preparing basic quotations under guidance. Day-to-day tasks include learning product features, assisting with demonstrations, maintaining accurate sales records, and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction. The associate will collaborate with senior team members to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or services, while building foundational skills in technical sales. Occasional on-site visits and training sessions may be required to deepen product knowledge and support sales activities.
Qualifications

  • Ability to perform basic Technical Sales activities, including understanding product features and matching solutions to customer needs.
  • Foundational Sales skills, such as lead follow-up, relationship building, and supporting the sales cycle.
  • Strong Customer Service orientation, with a focus on responsiveness, patience, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Clear and effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for engaging customers and collaborating with team members.
  • Willingness to participate in and deliver basic Training, including learning about products and sharing information with customers or colleagues.
  • Interest in industrial equipment, electrical services, and renewable energy solutions; prior exposure or coursework is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setting in Owode, manage time independently, and adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; post-secondary education in engineering, technology, business, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Basic computer skills, including use of email, spreadsheets, and online communication tools.
