You have built a solid foundation in environmental compliance. Now you are ready for broader responsibility: managing projects, advising clients, working directly with regulators, and seeing your recommendations put into practice.

Entech Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager with at least three to five years of experience and the versatility to work across multiple environmental programs.

What You Will Do

• Lead environmental compliance and permitting assignments from scope through final deliverable.
• Manage client relationships, schedules, budgets, priorities, and project communication.
• Research and interpret federal, state, and local requirements, then translate them into clear recommendations clients can use.
• Prepare permit applications, compliance plans, technical reports, calculations, and regulatory submittals.
• Work across air, water, wastewater, stormwater, waste, spill prevention, emergency planning, due diligence, and related compliance needs.
• Conduct occasional site visits, inspections, assessments, sampling, and data collection.
• Coordinate with Entech engineers and technical specialists to solve problems that cross disciplines.
• Build productive relationships with clients and regulatory agencies while helping clients anticipate risks and next steps.

What Will Make You Successful

• Three to five years or more of environmental compliance consulting experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, chemistry, geology, or a related discipline.
• Experience taking ownership of assignments or projects, including client communication and deliverable coordination.
• The judgment to interpret regulations carefully and the communication skills to explain them plainly.
• Strong technical writing, organization, follow-through, and comfort managing several priorities.
• A collaborative mindset paired with the ability to work independently.

Experience in environmental consulting, familiarity with PADEP processes, and exposure to several environmental compliance programs will distinguish strong candidates. We are more interested in sound judgment, adaptability, and client readiness than in finding someone who has already worked in every program listed.

Location and Work Arrangement

This full-time position may be based in Entech’s Reading, Lancaster, or Pottsville office and includes hybrid flexibility. Occasional local travel is expected for client meetings and site work.
