The Epic Analyst configures the Epic system in response to operational business needs. This position requires collaboration with operational business areas to identify requirements for system build and then validating the system meets the needs of the appropriate business area. The Epic Analyst will participate in system testing for upgrades, new implementations and enhancement releases, including integration testing with external vendor systems, as needed.
Location: Candidates must reside in the state of Wisconsin for consideration. This position is eligible to work at your home office (reliable internet is required), at our office in Brookfield or Menasha, or a combination of both in our hybrid workplace model. Travel to Menasha required occasionally for the position.
Hours: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, on-call rotation required
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, ensuring system configuration aligns with operational needs
- Timely response to business needs as defined by the business owner
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues
- Perform system testing for upgrades, new implementations and enhancement releases, including integration testing with external vendor systems, as needed
- Participate in project teams for system enhancements, upgrades and integration initiatives
- Develop and maintain clear documentation of workflows and technical functionality.
- Performs a thorough review of all Foundation Build and operational requested content and workflows for application
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
- 1+ years relevant experience with Epic
- Healthcare or health insurance background required
- Current certification in appropriate modules, as required:
- Tapestry UM or A&G
- Compass Rose/Healthy Planet
- or other relevant Epic certifications
