ETL Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with a strong background in Databricks and Python to join our team. This role is critical to the success of our finance functions, including forecasting, invoicing, billing, and financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable development plans for finance functions, including forecasting, invoicing, billing, and financial reporting systems.
  
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using industry best practices and coding standards.
  
• Create and execute development solutions using GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline.
  
• Utilize your experience in Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), and Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) to ensure high-quality outputs.
  
• Develop solutions using Python, with additional experience in Java or .Net as a plus.
  
• Maintain strong SQL proficiency to ensure efficient data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis.
  
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the success of all financial operations processes and systems.
  

Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• 3-5 years of development experience in Databricks using Python.
  
• Strong proficiency in SQL for efficient data retrieval and complex queries.
  
• Experience with GitHub Actions workflows, branching strategies, and code review processes.
  
• Proven experience as a quality assurance engineer, preferably in the financial industry.
  
• Solid understanding of financial operations processes and systems, including Great Plains or related ERP systems.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the financial industry or related field.
  
• Proficiency in Java or .Net languages.
  
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline, and other modern development tools.
  
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
