About the Role

Europe is where a large share of the endurance sports calendar happens, and COROS shows up at more of it every season. The Event Manager Europe owns how we get there and how it goes, from major running, trail and cycling events to activations in a key retailer's store and alongside COROS athletes, across our five direct European markets and distributor-led territories. This is a delivery role with a seat at the table.

Together with the Country Managers and the Head of Europe, you build the European event calendar and propose events based on what you and the country teams see in the market. Then you make it happen, from logistics, equipment, crew and build-up to on-site presence and an honest post-event read on whether it was worth it. On some projects you lead from concept to post-event report; on others you contribute to a project led by a market team. Which is which depends on the event, the local team and the wider calendar, and agreeing that split early, season by season, is part of the job. The role reports directly to the Head of Europe.

Your playground

  • Build and own the European event calendar together with the Country Managers and the Head of Europe, proposing events proactively based on market and community insight.

  • Plan and deliver COROS integrations and activations at running, trail running, cycling and outdoor events across Europe.

  • Own event logistics end to end: equipment, booth and activation build, demo and test devices, shipping and stock across markets, crew planning and on-site execution.

  • Source and commission event material and suppliers, manage production timelines and keep the European event kit in shape and in the right place.

  • Deliver retail-linked activations and community formats, such as community runs with partner stores, in close coordination with the Retail Marketing Manager Europe and the sales organisation.

  • Act as the point of contact for Country Managers and Sales Managers on everything event-related, from first idea to post-event report.

  • Contribute delivery capacity to projects led by others, whether a market team running a local event or a global vertical team owning a larger brand or sports event.

  • Work with the events function in the US as a peer, engage directly with the headquarters teams in China on event material sourcing, and collaborate with the brand team on event assets.

  • Track cost, reach and outcome per event, report back honestly, and use the data to shape the following season's calendar.

  • Make independent spending decisions within approved event projects.

What you bring to the starting line

Professional Background

  • Experience: 2 years+ in event management, brand activation or field marketing, ideally in sports, outdoor or a comparable consumer brand environment.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Event Delivery: Proven track record of planning and executing physical events and activations end to end, including the unglamorous parts: logistics, shipping, equipment, crew and build-up.

  • Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the European endurance sports calendar and the organisers, communities and audiences around it.

  • Supplier and Budget Handling: Experience negotiating with organisers and suppliers, tracking spend against plan and making the call on what a given event is worth.

  • Multi-Market Work: Comfort coordinating with several country teams whose needs and calendars differ.

Other Key Requirements

  • Collaboration and Organization: Strong project management and communication skills, highly organised, and calm when a plan has to change on site.

  • Mindset: Self-motivated and hands-on. At COROS we do the work ourselves, and that includes carrying the boxes.

  • Physical: Comfortable with hands-on build-up work, including lifting and carrying event equipment.

  • Language: Fluency in English, spoken and written. An additional European language is a plus.

  • Mobility: Substantial travel across Europe during the event season, including weekends, with time off in lieu. Valid driver's license.

How the role will grow

COROS Europe is growing fast, and this role is built to grow with it. As the European event programme expands and individual markets develop their own capacity, the scope of this role is likely to shift: fewer markets to cover, more depth and ownership in the ones that remain. How that plays out will depend on how the business develops and on the strengths the person in this role brings. What we can say today is that this is a function being built rather than inherited, and that the person building it will shape what it becomes.

The Setup

  • Reporting Line: Head of Europe.

  • Scope: Five direct European markets plus distributor-led territories.

  • Location: Remote, anywhere in the EU or the UK, within easy reach of a major airport. Wherever you're based, we'll set you up with a local employment contract.

  • Working Mode: Fully remote or hybrid if you live close to an office location, with occasional team get-togethers.

  • Job Type: Full-time.

Package & Benefits

  • Work in a motivated, international team.

  • Co-own the European event programme of a fast-growing brand from day one.

  • Space for ideas and independent work.

  • Flat hierarchy with short decision-making processes.

  • 25 days of paid vacation plus standard local holidays.

  • Compensation: The base salary range for this position starts at €45.000,- annually with the possibility to earn a performance-based bonus on top. This is the least we can do for you. The final offer depends on your experience, background, and location.
