Code Camp is part of Cluey Learning, a high-growth EdTech company. Code Camp teaches kids from 5-13 years old how to code and create through our Holiday Camps and After School Programs.

Our purpose is to get kids excited about technology, to be creators not just consumers and set them up for a future in tech.

The Event Operations Coordinator plays a key role in delivering Code Camp events across multiple locations, working closely with Camp Managers, schools and venues to make sure every camp runs smoothly. This role suits someone with solid events or education experience who is ready to take ownership of their own portfolio of camps and contribute to continuous improvement across Service Operations.

This role is designed for someone who:

  • Has hands-on experience coordinating events or education programs

  • Is confident managing their own portfolio of camps, schools and venues with minimal supervision

  • Is ready to take on more responsibility, solve problems and support others

  • Wants to grow their career in a fast-paced, high-growth business

The day-to-day:

  • Own and manage relationships with an assigned group of schools and venues, building strong, long-term partnership

  • Maintain delivery of our camps to company standards

  • Ensure Camp Managers follow effective scheduling, bump-in and bump-out processes for every camp

  • Measure and maintain high quality camp outcomes for attendees

  • Support the delivery of event plans and contribute local insights to improve operations

  • Take full responsibility for and follow through on assigned KPIs (qualitative and quantitative)

  • Monitor staffing coverage and readiness for your camps, flagging and resolving risks early

  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of event delivery and logistics, and bring new ideas by staying up to date with current trends in your role

Operations Ownership & Support:

  • Act as a first point of escalation for Camp Managers on day-to-day operational, staffing or venue issues

  • Take ownership of your camps from planning through to post-camp follow-up, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery

  • Lead by example in upholding company standards, policies and service expectations

  • Support the onboarding and coaching of new Camp Managers

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Customer Support, Marketing and Sales

  • Review post-camp feedback and incident reports to identify improvement opportunities

  • Support the Service Operations Manager with reporting and planning

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in an events or education background

  • A valid Working with Children Check, or eligibility to obtain one (essential)

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

  • High level of organisation and attention to detail

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills

  • Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders at once

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong project management and planning skills

  • Experience supporting or mentoring others highly regarded
