The British Health Awards is a unique awards programme that includes fields such as healthcare, social care, fitness, food and the environment. Our goal is to celebrate the people and organisations that are passionate about helping us all lead healthier and ultimately better lives.
This Sales Coordinator position is a new role that is focused on driving delegate attendance to our flagship event (the British Health Awards) and working with partners to identify, sell and support the delivery of value-adding sponsorship opportunities.
Over the next 12 months, they’ll also be opportunities to commercialise a number of other formats, e.g. executive roundtables and exhibitions, and so a candidate that is confident and able to demonstrate a track-record of building successful commercial relationships with partners would be a huge plus.
This is a remote role (however you must be UK-based).
The person for this role:
We’re looking for a self-starter with some experience of sales outreach in a business-to-business environment. Experience of confidently working with potential partners to understand and identify their objectives and building sponsorship proposals around this would also be an advantage.
Main responsibilities:
- Supporting the British Health Awards campaign sales plan
- Identifying, onboarding and supporting sponsors to achieve their objectives. Importantly, this role will work with sponsors throughout the campaign to ensure that they achieve real value from working with us.
- Be a key point of contact for attendees – helping to manage delegate sign-ups and deal with queries
Essential criteria:
- 1+ years of sales experience (ideally in a business audience)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
Desirable criteria:
- Interest in the health industry
- Experience of selling event-based sponsorships
What we can offer:
Pay: Up to £33,000 per year (DOE) + quarterly sales-related bonus
Full-time, permanent
Benefits:
- Remote working
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Dynamic start-up culture with room for professional growth
- Structured growth and development support
- Company pension
