Rebuilding a company for the AI era.

At Teachable, we power hundreds of millions of dollars a year in creator sales, and we are in the middle of rebuilding how this company goes to market; from the ground up, with AI in the stack from day one.

That means the sales motion you are joining is being written right now. We are instrumenting the funnel from zero, building signal-driven prospecting on top of AI tooling, and replacing manual research and hand-typed email with systems.

You would be one of a small number of people whose fingerprints end up on all of it.

Most sellers never get this shot. You either join a startup with no product and no customers, or a large company where the playbook was frozen five years before you arrived.

This is the rare third thing: a real business at real scale, with a product people already love, being rebuilt in public.

About your team:

Our Marketing team spans brand, content, social, customer marketing, events, and partnerships, all working together to build a world-class brand creators love and to drive awareness, engagement, and growth. We connect with new and existing audiences across every channel and turn strategy into work that people feel, from the story on the page to the room at a live event.

What is the role?

We're looking for an Events Lead to own how Teachable shows up in the room, from creator gatherings to virtual summits. This is a hands-on role responsible for our events program and the corporate partnerships that grow Teachable's reach and credibility.
Events are where creators meet us, and each other, face to face. You'll make sure every one earns its place: creators leave with something they can use, and Teachable leaves with stronger relationships, content, and growth.

This role reports to the Head of Marketing and works closely with Content, Customer Marketing, Partnerships, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Growth. You'll lead our events coordinator.
In this role, you will:

  • Own our events program end to end (creator gatherings, field activations, virtual summits, and content shoots), setting strategy and creative direction while your events coordinator drives logistics and on-the-ground execution
  • Manage the events budget and vendor relationships, from venues and production partners to travel and catering
  • Partner with our Partnerships Lead to source, negotiate, and manage corporate partnerships, including event sponsorships, that extend Teachable's reach and credibility
  • Partner with our Content Strategy Lead and with Growth on promotion before each event and follow-up after it, turning event moments into content and campaigns
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Marketing, Partnerships, Product, and Finance to tie every event to business goals
  • Support Sales and Customer Success with events that build pipeline and retention, from prospect and customer invitations to dedicated sessions and VIP experiences
  • Define and report on success metrics for events and partnerships (such as attendee conversion, creator retention, and cost per attendee), and use them to decide what to scale or cut

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years in field or experiential marketing, ideally including managing a direct report
  • A portfolio of live and virtual events you've run end to end, including budgets and vendors, without dropping the creative bar
  • Experience working on corporate partnerships or event sponsorships
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to influence cross-functionally
  • Excellent creative judgment and communication skills
  • Passion for helping creators, entrepreneurs, and small business owners grow their impact

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in SaaS or the creator economy
  • Experience representing a company across social, webinars, and community-facing events
  • Experience producing virtual events and webinars, including the platforms behind them

Additional details:

At Teachable, we are committed to providing fair and competitive pay (using market data to inform our pay bands), rewarding high performance, and ensuring all employees have the opportunity and ability to impact Teachable's overall company value. Base salaries will be reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year, typically following performance review cycles currently conducted bi-annually or in conjunction with a promotion.

This role is open to candidates who can work hybrid in our NYC office 1 to 2 days a week.

This role includes regular travel for events, including some evenings and weekends.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

While Teachable maintains our NY office for local employees to use, we operate as a remote-first culture in order to give our employees added flexibility. In order to maintain connection and create a community beyond the screen, Teachable holds in-person events throughout the year, where employees and teams can come together for bonding, strategic alignment, goal-setting, and celebrations!

Annual Salary Range
$100,000—$131,000 USD
