Exchange Programs Representative – Hungary (Commission-Based)

International Exchange Center (IEC) helps students and young professionals gain global experience through international programs such as Work & Travel USA, internships, and e-learning.

Role Description

We’re seeking a Country Representative in Hungary to promote IEC programs, consult program candidates, and support them as participants through the application and visa preparation process.

Who we are looking for

You are: based in Budapest, Debrecen, Szeged, or nearby. You are a current student or interact with the student community in some capactiy. You have some availability during the week to respond to potential candidates and support them individually. You are comfortable working in a commission-based role long-term. You enjoy helping people one-on-one and are interested in .

What you’ll do

• Promote IEC programs to students through online activity, events, campus outreach, and partnerships, and consult candidates you find yourself - or ones that find you through our online presence
• Sign up and guide applicants through the process (applications, documents, visa preparation)
• Coordinate with IEC and participants to ensure a smooth journey from sign-up to departure

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Based in Hungary with connections to student or youth communities
• Languages: Professional English recommended, native or professional Hungarian
• Experience with exchange programs (as a participant or organizer) is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive approach to building partnerships
• Previous experience in education, recruitment, or a similar role is an advantage
