Be the first call. Earn it every day.

This is a job about people. Two Managing Directors whose time and focus you defend, and a network of investors, co-sponsors and founder clients whose trust you keep.

They run this firm across real estate private equity, M&A and founder advisory, with counterparties in the US, Europe and APAC. Both of those jobs have outgrown what two people can do between them.

Most people spend years earning their way into the room where senior relationships actually get managed, watching someone else do it before anyone trusts them with it. There is no queue here. Two Managing Directors and nobody standing between you and them means that trust either transfers to you fast, or it never gets built. Either way, you will know which one is happening within months, not years.

What you own

  • Their time. Calendars and inboxes end to end, a short daily alignment with each Managing Director, and eventually the confidence to decline a meeting on their behalf. That takes a few months and nobody expects it in week one.

  • The relationships. Every LP, family office, co-sponsor, lender and founder client we deal with: who they are, what each needs from us, how they want to be dealt with, and whether they are happy. You set the treatment plan for each group and run the weekly rhythm of outreach and updates that keeps it alive. Ten relationships fit in someone's head. A hundred do not, and that is the problem you are here to solve.

  • The update and the briefing. Investor and board updates, pre-reads before meetings that matter, and the short assessments behind a decision. Often the only thing a busy investor actually reads.

  • Project management and follow-through. Several things run at once here and you own the state of yours: what is due, who owes what, what has slipped, and who needs telling before it becomes a problem. Every meeting you sit in gets taken to closure, with actions, owners and dates. We run this in Linear and expect it to be current without anyone having to ask.

  • The private side, about a third of the role. Tax filings, banking, travel, the household interface, gifts and the rest. Not glamorous, and the part that needs the most trust. There is administrative support in the firm, so you coordinate this rather than carry it alone.

Where you are coming from

We are weighting relationships here. The strongest fit has spent two or three years being trusted with someone else's reputation: client-facing consulting or advisory, investor relations, coverage work in wealth or private banking, a family office or private office, business development, or account management where the client was senior and the stakes were real.

You also need enough finance for the room to make sense. A term sheet, due diligence, EBITDA, an LP. Not as a specialist, and you will not be building models here. If those words are new, the first six months are much harder than they need to be.

Coming from somewhere else entirely is a harder case to make, not an impossible one. Show us why we should trust that you can make it.

What you need on day one

  • Two or more years working closely with senior people, where their time or reputation was partly in your hands

  • Relationships you have kept warm over time and can tell us about

  • Writing that can go to an investor without being rewritten

  • Structured thinking. If you call something a seven out of ten, your instinct is to show why. This is the one thing we cannot teach quickly

  • Fluent English (IELTS >6.5 equivalent), and patience for three time zones

What helps

  • You live comfortably in software. We run on Linear, Google Workspace, a CRM, automation tooling and AI, and we expect people to reach for a tool rather than a spreadsheet and a reminder

  • You can read a P&L and say roughly what it tells you. We are not looking for an accountant

  • You have organised something genuinely complicated before and enjoyed it

What we teach you

Our treatment plans and stakeholder rhythm. Our writing standards. How we run work in Linear. How to use AI here properly, which is mostly knowing what to check rather than what to prompt. How the three verticals actually make money, picked up by being in the room.

Working here

The most capable people in the room are usually the ones you have never heard of, and that is who we hire.

This is a relationship business, which means how someone feels after dealing with you matters as much as what got done. An investor should come off a call thinking that was easy, that was pleasant, and that they were properly looked after. Warmth is not decoration in this role, it is most of the product. Underneath it sits preparation, memory and discretion far more than charisma: remembering that someone prefers a call to an email, the document arriving on the day you promised it. Quiet and thorough does very well here. Loud does not particularly.

Small team, so nothing you do goes unnoticed and nothing gets lost in a layer of management. Feedback is direct and frequent, which takes some getting used to and means you will not spend six months wondering how you are doing.

Where this goes

You will not stay boxed into the scope above. Both Managing Directors work across real estate, M&A and founder advisory, and you will be in the room for most of it, not only the relationship and calendar work that is formally yours. Sit in enough of those rooms and do good work in them, and pieces of what you touched become yours to run. Nobody is going to stop you from being useful somewhere the job description never mentioned.

Beyond that, it is up to you, honestly. We are not going to promise you a title or a date, because that would be a guess dressed up as a plan. What we will do is hand you more as you show you can carry it. Get properly good at one part of this and the next part follows quickly, inside this role or outside it. The pace is set by how fast you become the person we stop checking on, not by a review calendar.

What you get

  • Competitive compensation above market rates

  • Medical coverage fully funded by the firm

  • A personal coach for mental wellness and a Celebrity Fitness membership including a personal trainer

  • Learning and development budget plus weekly cross-role learning sessions

  • 12 days annual leave rising to 24 with service, and a season parking pass

  • Genuinely flexible hybrid. We are flexible on location and on hours, and judge people on what gets delivered rather than desk time

  • Direct access to two Managing Directors, and a seat at conversations most people at your level hear about second hand

  • Quarterly goal setting, two-way feedback, team lunches, dinners, team building activies and an annual offsite

Our mission

Be the first call. Earn it every day.

Our mission is to be the first call. That means earning the trust. When a founder hits a wall, when an owner faces a tough decision, when an investor needs something handled and handled now, the first number they dial is ours. We work in small teams, side by side with the people we serve, and the most capable people in the room are usually the ones you have never heard of. That is exactly who we intend to be: known quietly, in the circles that matter, for the fact that whatever we take on gets done. Trust like that is never owned. It is earned one job at a time, and every piece of work that leaves our hands either earns the next call or loses it.
