Role Description The Experienced Marketer role is a full-time remote position responsible for Marketing for paid partnership, sponsorships, planning, executing, and marketing campaigns that promote Aspire West Africa’s events, programs, and initiatives. Day-to-day activities include developing marketing strategies, creating and refining campaign messaging, managing digital and social media channels, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure consistent brand positioning. The role involves analyzing market trends and campaign performance, preparing reports and insights, and refining tactics to increase engagement, registrations, and partnerships. The Experienced Marketer will also collaborate with external partners, vendors, and media outlets to expand reach and strengthen Aspire West Africa’s visibility across the continent.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in marketing strategy, campaign planning, and brand positioning.
• Must be based in Portharcourt
• Strong skills in digital marketing, including social media management, email marketing, and content creation.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and use insights to improve marketing performance.
• Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM systems, social media management tools, analytics software).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in event or program promotion within Africa or other emerging markets is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
