Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Experienced Upwork Bidder / Proposal Writer. The role involves identifying relevant projects on Upwork and similar platforms, analyzing client requirements, and preparing tailored proposals that clearly communicate the company’s value and technical capabilities. The person in this role will collaborate with technical and marketing teams to gather project details, develop winning bid strategies, and ensure timely submission of proposals and RFP responses. Daily responsibilities include refining proposal templates, maintaining a pipeline of opportunities, updating bid tracking documents, and engaging with potential clients through clear, professional written communication. The role requires consistent follow-up on submitted bids, supporting negotiations, and contributing ideas to improve the overall proposal process and win rate.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Proposal Management and Proposal Writing skills, including experience structuring and submitting bids on platforms like Upwork.
• Candidates should possess solid Technical Writing and RFP skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into clear, compelling documents.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and internal teams effectively.
• Candidates should possess strong research and analytical abilities to assess project fit, estimate effort, and align proposals with client goals.
• Experience bidding for web development, AI and automation, data solutions, desktop applications, digital marketing, or UI/UX projects is highly beneficial.
• Proven success rate in online proposal writing and client acquisition, preferably on Upwork or similar freelance platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain organized records of bids and client communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with strong relevant experience.
