Your position

As an Export Finance Advisor, you will play a key role in the development of Credendo’s Export Finance Solutions activities. You will contribute to the growth of a strategic business line by combining business development, relationship management and financial risk assessment.

As part of a small, dedicated team with an entrepreneurial mindset, you will help Belgian exporters identify, structure and implement financing solutions that strengthen their international commercial offer. You will combine client contact, financial analysis and transaction structuring while working closely with exporters, banks, buyers and internal stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• You will develop and maintain relationships with exporters, banks, financial institutions and strategic clients involved in international trade.
• You will identify and originate new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the Credendo Export Finance Solutions portfolio.
• You will promote Credendo Export Finance Solutions and contribute to its visibility and development both domestically and internationally by representing the company during client meetings, conferences, networking events and industry forums.
• You will act as a trusted advisor to clients and business partners, helping them understand how financing and risk mitigation solutions can support their growth.
• You will analyse financial statements, financing structures and transaction risks.
• You will assess the creditworthiness of counterparties involved in export finance transactions.
• You will collaborate closely with internal underwriting, risk and business teams to structure appropriate financing solutions.
• You will monitor economic, sector and market developments relevant to international trade and export finance.

Your profile

• You hold a master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Engineering, Commercial Engineering or another relevant field.
• You have a first successful professional experience in corporate finance, banking, insurance, financial advisory, structured finance or credit analysis.
• You combine strong analytical skills with a genuine commercial mindset.
• You enjoy creating and maintaining long-term business relationships.
• You have solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
• You are comfortable interacting with senior decision-makers and strategic clients.
• You have a sound understanding of financial statements, financing structures and credit risk concepts.
• You are proactive, outgoing and comfortable representing the organisation externally.
• You have a strong interest in international trade, export finance and global economic developments.
• You are able to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment.
• You are willing to travel abroad occasionally and participate in networking and business development events.
• You have excellent knowledge of French and you show oral and written proficiency in Dutch and English, allowing you to perform in an international environment.
