About the Role

FeyCrow is looking for volunteer game testers who are interested in playing our games during development and contributing to the development process through constructive feedback.

As a volunteer tester, you will be expected to playtest our games, identify bugs and technical issues, and share your thoughts on gameplay mechanics, controls, user interface, and the overall player experience.

Your feedback will help us identify areas for improvement and make our games better before release.

You will be assigned testing tasks, report any issues you encounter in a clear and understandable manner, and communicate feedback with the development team. This is a fully remote and flexible volunteer opportunity. However, testers are expected to complete assigned tasks within agreed timeframes and provide feedback regularly.

Responsibilities

• Test games currently in development across different gameplay scenarios.
• Identify bugs, crashes, visual issues, and unexpected in-game behavior.
• Provide feedback on gameplay mechanics, controls, user interface, and the overall gaming experience.
• Document discovered issues using clear descriptions, screenshots, or short video recordings.
• Follow testing instructions and complete assigned tasks.
• Share suggestions and ideas that could improve the games.
• Communicate testing results and feedback with the FeyCrow team.

Requirements

• A genuine interest in video games and a willingness to explore different genres.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues.
• The ability to communicate observations clearly and effectively in writing.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to install and run games.
• The ability to capture screenshots and short video recordings when needed.
• Patience and an open-minded approach when testing unfinished games and features.
• The ability to work independently, follow instructions, and complete assigned tasks.
• Previous game testing experience is a plus, but not required.

Work Arrangement & Participation

This is a fully remote volunteer position with a flexible schedule.

Please note that this is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. No salary, compensation, or employment commitment is provided.

Joining the FeyCrow Discord server is mandatory, as all testing assignments, team communication, announcements, and feedback collection will be handled through Discord.

Applicants are expected to actively follow testing announcements and instructions shared on the server.
