A fast-growing digital services company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Accounting Officer to join its finance team and support the smooth operation of financial processes across the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong relationships with external partners, and contributing to the company's continued growth. Key Responsibilities: Managing the invoicing and collection processes while ensuring timely and accurate execution. Handling incoming and outgoing payments, including international transfers, and maintaining accurate financial records and documentation. Communicating with external partners, including banks and business partners, to support daily financial operations. Preparing monthly liquidity reports, payment reports, and account reconciliations. Assisting with VAT and tax reporting while keeping up to date with regulatory requirements across the EU, US, and other key jurisdictions. Supporting KYC procedures and onboarding processes for banks and Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs). Collaborating with auditors and external advisors to ensure efficient and compliant financial operations. Conducting market research to identify and evaluate potential banking partnerships. Investigating financial discrepancies, analyzing findings, and providing valuable insights to management. Monitoring daily foreign exchange (FX) rates and recommending appropriate currency conversion strategies. Assisting with various ad hoc financial and accounting tasks as required. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller and supporting the wider finance function. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role (experience within online or digital businesses will be considered an advantage). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive mindset. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
