Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a finance-related role, with experience in online or digital companies considered a distinct plus. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets. Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Key Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Group's Financial Controller, the Finance & Accounting Officer will handle a diverse range of tasks, including: Invoicing & Cash Flow: Managing invoicing and collection processes, as well as incoming and outgoing payments (including international transfers) and their proper filing. Reporting & Reconciliations: Preparing monthly liquidity and payment reports, performing reconciliations, and identifying/investigating financial discrepancies to provide insights to management. Tax & Compliance: Assisting with VAT and tax reporting while staying updated on regulations across the EU, US, and other key regions. Banking & Onboarding: Supporting KYC and onboarding processes for banks and EMIs, and conducting market research for potential new banking partnerships. Treasury Support: Monitoring daily FX rates and providing strategic suggestions for currency conversions. External Collaboration: Handling correspondence with external partners (such as banks) and collaborating with auditors and external advisors to ensure smooth financial operations. Ad Hoc Duties: Assisting with various ad hoc financial tasks as required.
