Role Overview
Reporting directly to the CFO, this Finance Business Partner role combines core finance and business partnering with oversight of the credit function. You'll support month-end, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and give commercial insight that helps the business make better decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support month-end close, rebate management, financial reporting and sub-ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare management reports, variance analysis and commentary for management meetings and commercial leadership
  • Assist with budgeting and rolling forecasts, linking credit trends with revenue and margin projections
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support pricing, contract negotiations and commercial decisions
  • Help the business improve profitability and deliver against its KPIs
  • Oversee day-to-day credit operations alongside the National Credit Manager, including customer accounts, disputes, ageing and credit risk reviews
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Global multinational with a world-class brand and real scope to build an international finance career
  • Direct reporting line to the CFO, with exposure to regional finance leadership
  • Newly created, broader role with a clear pathway into other finance roles over time
  • Small, collaborative team where your work is visible and valued
  • Attractive bonus scheme, additional employer superannuation and extra wellness leave
  • Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days from home), with a brand-new Melbourne office from December
Ideal Candidate
You're a qualified or near-qualified accountant with a strong grounding in month-end, reporting and forecasting, and you want to broaden into commercial business partnering. Credit experience isn't essential, as it's something you can learn here. You're a confident communicator who builds strong relationships with commercial teams and customers, and you can translate financial detail into clear, practical insight.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CA/CPA qualified or currently completing
  • 4+ years' experience in financial accounting, audit or commercial finance
  • Audit or Big 4 background advantageous
  • Advanced Excel skills; Microsoft Business Central experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
