Finance Director

Role Description The Finance Director role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The Finance Director will oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, monitoring cash flow, and analyzing financial performance and trends. The role will also involve developing financial controls, supporting compliance with relevant regulations, advising leadership on financial risks and opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on key initiatives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
• Candidates should possess Financial Planning and Financial Reporting skills to manage budgets, forecasts, and periodic financial disclosures.
• Candidates should possess expertise in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Relevant experience in a senior finance role, preferably within professional services, media, or leadership platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) are an advantage.
• Proficiency with financial software and spreadsheets, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
