We're looking for analytical, detail-oriented, and numbers-driven students to join our Finance Internship and gain hands-on experience managing the financial lifeblood of a business — from budgeting and forecasting to investment analysis and reporting.

About the Internship

As a Finance Intern, you'll work on realistic business challenges involving financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, financial statement analysis, and investment decision-making.

You'll learn how finance professionals allocate resources, evaluate opportunities, manage risk, and turn financial data into strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

* Build monthly budgets for mock departments and track variances.

* Create cash flow statements and forecast future cash positions.

* Analyze profit-and-loss statements and identify cost drivers.

* Build three-statement financial models for practice companies.

* Evaluate investment opportunities using NPV and ROI calculations.

* Prepare break-even analyses for hypothetical products or services.

* Design pricing models and compare revenue scenarios.

* Build dashboards tracking burn rate, runway, and unit economics.

* Research funding options and compare their terms for startups.

* Draft financial reports summarizing company health for stakeholders.

* Analyze accounts receivable aging and propose collection strategies.

* Compare financing options such as loans, equity, and grants.

* Build expense categorization systems and spending policies.

* Conduct competitive benchmarking on financial performance metrics.

* Draft fundraising pitch-deck financial slides for mock startups.

* Analyze subscription pricing tiers and customer lifetime value.

* Research tax basics and compliance requirements for small businesses.

* Build scenario models for best-case, worst-case, and base-case plans.

* Draft internal memos explaining financial results to non-finance teams.

* Research financial software tools and compare their features.

* Use AI tools for financial analysis, modeling, research, and reporting.

* Present financial findings, forecasts, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

* Current student or recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

* Strong interest in corporate finance, financial planning, and analysis.

* Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers.

* Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google Sheets); formulas and pivot tables a plus.

* Good written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance audiences.

* Interest in startups, budgeting, and investment decision-making.

* Familiarity with financial statements (income, balance sheet, cash flow) is a plus but not required.

* Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms is a plus.

* Previous professional finance experience is not required.
